ㆍSafety Check
Players must check the vicinity where they plan to take a stroke or practice swinging with their club for any nearby places where the ball, rock, gravel, branches, or other objects could fly and potentially hit someone before they take their stroke or practice swing.

ㆍYield for other players
The owning player has the right to play before the opponent or fellow competitor tees up the ball. No one should move, speak, or stand directly behind or close to the ball or the hole while the player is addressing the ball or making a stroke. Nobody should hit the ball until the group ahead is out of range.

ㆍSpeed of play
For the benefit of all, players must play without delay. If a player is concerned that their ball may be lost outside a water hazard or out of bounds, they should play a provisional ball to save time. When it becomes apparent that the ball will not be easily found, the player should promptly signal the group behind to play and should not search for the ball for more than 5 minutes.
Once a subsequent group has received the signal and their balls are out of range, play should not resume.
Upon completion of a hole, players must leave the putting green immediately. If a group is delayed and has fallen more than a hole behind, they should allow subsequent groups to play through.

ㆍCourse Priority
Unless otherwise specified, a group playing with two balls has precedence over a group of three or four balls and has the right to pass them, which should be adhered to. A single player has no standing and must give way to any kind of group
A group playing a shorter round than the first round must allow the group playing the first round in its entirety to pass.
